This position reports to

Responsibilities and duties

• Maintain a clean and safe plant.
• Establish and direct plant policies and procedures.
• Responsible for meet the shift production goal.
• Train plant Machine Operators.
• Responsible to meet the quality goal.
• Attend scheduled corporate training and meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.

 

Specific function related duties

• Must be willing to perform any housekeeping requirements necessary to ensure a clean and safe work area.
• Must be able to meet production standards.
• Must comply with all company policies and work performance standards

 

Knowledge and skill requirements

• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent CNC Machine operation this is normally acquired by seven to ten years of manufacturing experience.
• Candidates will need to have prior CNC machine programming experience. With follow Controllers Siemens, Heidenhain, Fanuc. Excellent mechanical aptitude, math, measuring and quality inspection skills are a must. Must be able to lift 30-50lbs - loading and unloading machined parts.
• Able to read blueprint.
• Understanding of Quality systems and ISO 9001

 

Authority

• Portions of the job may not be standardized or completely described in the job description and many require some independent action and thinking by the employee.

 

Qualifications

• Physically able to lift up to 30 - 50lbs.
• Ability to follow job instructions.
• Must be able to work in a teamwork environment
• The ability to stand for long periods up to eight or more hours at a time.
